UK Visas and Immigration introduced the High Potential Individual (HPI) visa route on 30 May 2022 for candidates who graduated between 1 November 2021 and 31 October 2022.
Purpose of HPI visa: It intends to make a large number of new skilled workers available to British businesses.
The HPI path was designed specifically to attract the world’s best graduates to the United Kingdom (UK). After completing their studies at prestigious universities, the short-term visa will allow the recipients to begin their careers early. The British government initiated this visa to benefit the British workforce.
In the meantime, the British government released a list of universities nominated between 2016 and 2020. Candidates who meet the requirements can now apply for an HPI visa without a job offer in the UK.
